The concept for "Root-in" arose from the issue of retirees struggling to spend their time meaningfully after leaving lifelong careers. This app allows users to design, record, and implement daily routines. Targeting an older demographic, I used a distinct color palette and a plant-growth concept where plants evolve through five stages based on routine completion rates. Features include screens for selecting and recording routines, recommendations for next routines, and chat rooms for users with similar hobbies. All planning and design were grounded in thorough market research, interviews, surveys, and usability tests. At Yonsei University's Techno-Art Capstone Gala Night 2023, I presented the project with a promotional video to professors, students, and invited guests.
